Thank you for posting regarding the Flash Sale. I was just able to upgrade our drink package for our December Ascent sailing. Also, booked Eden Restaurant as well. I love Cruisecritic.

IMO the prices for the drink packages are crazy. Unless we get a great price for an AI cruise we have been doing the cruise only recently. DH does not drink at all and I may have a glass of procescco before dinner.

When we were on the Summit last June to Bermuda there were no pickleball courts. I do not believe this has changed.

Hello. Sorry if this has been discussed previously. Booked a Concierge Class Cabin at the Cruise Only Fare for the December 4, 2023 Silhouette sailing. I have received the opportunity to do a MoveUp offer on an Aqua Class Sky Suite and a Horizon Suite. As I booked the cruise only (we are Elite) fare what amenities would we receive if our offer is accepted? Trying to decide if it is worth it. We usually do Aqua Class which has Blu or Concierge with the speciality dining package for the whole cruise. Thank you so much for any responses.

Celebrity provides an excellent product I believe. We sailed the Edge this past January and I was hesitant about the Infinity Verandah. However, my DH and I both loved it. It was so cool having that extra space. The staff were some of the most hospitable people you would ever want to meet. Always saying hello and asking you how you were doing. The food in Eden was amazing. Definitely will sail Celebrity Edge class again.

Celebrity does provide an excellent cruise experience IMO. The whole world changed during the pandemic and adjustments had to be made for all of us. The Celebrity cruises we have been on after COVID have been excellent in all areas. We love the Edge class as well as the S-Class. My motto: Keep on cruising for as long as you can.

Thank you for your post. I am glad to hear you and your daughter enjoyed your cruise. We leave Sunday on the Summit for Bermuda. Looking forward to going back to this beautiful island and spending some time on the beach. Happy to hear the food in Blu was good as we are in an Aqua Class cabin.

So happy to hear the above information regarding the Celebrity Summit and Blu. We are leaving Sunday for our sailing to Bermuda in Aqua Class. I was getting nervous hearing all the bad comments recently about the ship and the food. Thank you for your posts.

We are on the June 18th sailing Celebrity Summit sailing. Hoping that it is not overloaded with kids. However, being in Bermuda will make me happy. Bermuda is beautiful.

In specialty dining you can order what you would like from the menu. We have never had an issue with this. There are so many good entrees to choose from. Enjoy.

Sharonann24. We spend our time in the Solarium pool area. It was not bad at all finding a lounger in a good spot. Enjoy your cruise. We had wonderful weather.

Check with Speciality Dining reservations as soon as you board. Hopefully, times will be available. Also, check the Celebrity Dining APP to see of openings after you board.

We were just recently on the Edge and had a wonderful sailing. All of the dining room staff were personable and present. Different menu choices daily. Enjoyed all of the 4 MDR's. No complaints whatsoever. My DH and I felt all of the Celebrity Edge staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent cruise experience. Our sailing was at FULL CAPACITY. Concierge cabin with the IV was beautiful. Celebrity still provides a quality product. I guess each of us has a different definition of quality.

Having flown out of Barcelona is the past I would say definitely not. I would look at a flight after 12pm. I would not want the stress of such an early flight.

Hello CaliforniaAC, You have to email the concierge prior to coming to St. Lucia and then they let you know if they have availability. We have decided to not do it this cruise. The price point is in my opinion very high. Thinking of just doing a beach day.

Received the Move Up option on our sailing next week on the Edge. Currently in a Concierge Class cabin on Deck 12 (I like the higher floor). Trying to decide if it's worth it to bid for the upgrade? I know this has been discussed before but have not sailed Aqua Class in awhile. Thank you for your help.

I did contact them directly and was told that they do have day passes for $110.00pp.

I am so sorry to hear of your health concerns and experience while in Rome. DH and I were in Rome prior to boarding our RCCL cruise in Civitavecchia (September) when I had a health emergency and was transported to a hospital in Rome near the Colosseum. The care I received was excellent and all of the medical personnel extremely competent. Language barrier was an issue at times but the ER Doctor spoke very good English. However, my health issue was not as serious at the poster's. We always get our travel insurance with the maximum health coverage. Continue healing and cruising.

NutsAboutGolf I agree about having Global Entry which I do. I was just stating that for those who may not have GE staff shortages impact all aspects of travel. I am glad you are not experiencing any travel delays.

We are sailing on the Edge in January in Concierge cabin. The price has gone up almost 3000.00 from what we paid. I do not call that a SALE.

I agree with some of the other posters. It is just too STRESSFUL nowadays with such a short time window booking an early flight. So many variables that you have no control over. Have traveled a lot recently and the airports are understaffed as is customs etc.
