Rum Point Beach

Has anyone taken a Beach Excursion to Rum Point Beach? If so is it best to take tour with Cruise or take a taxi on our own? What would it cost to take a taxi to Rum Point Beach? Would greatly appreciate any help:)

It's a 45 minute drive. For two or three people, a taxi would cost about $80 US each way, and you'd have to arrange the return trip in advance, since there are no taxis waiting in the area to take you back to the ship. A larger group would likely cost more each way.

The only realistic ways of visiting Rum Point while visiting Cayman by cruise ship are either to rent a car or to take an excursion (with the ship or privately booked) that includes a stop there.
