Should we do Carlisle AND Accra?

I'm undecided as to which beach to go to...Carlisle or Accra. It appears from other threads that Accra might be the prettier beach but Carlisle has better snorkeling? If we will be in port from 8-6 is it possible/advisable to do both? Maybe walk to Carlisle and stay there for the morning, and then take a cab to Accra for the afternoon?

Both locations are on the main South Coast road ('Hiway' 7)

so you could even catch a bus up and down, between them and/or back into town.

Bus fare (all over the island) is U.S.$ 0.75 (75cents!) per person

but it's so cheap it makes for efficiency to just give the guy US$1 per person

and make like the last of the big time spenders, help bump up our economy. LOL!
