Atlantis excursion in Nassau

I'm not sure on the cost of the excursion through the cruiseline, but you can book a room at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island and get access to EVERYTHING at Atlantis - waterpark, casino, aquarium. Upon checking in to the CSPI they give you each a wristband for the park. It is located right next door, basicaly connected.

We paid around $250 for the room last Jan, last time I checked it was around $300.

We were on the Disney Wonder and booking through the cruiseline was around $150 PER PERSON. There are 4 of us, so we saved quite a bit of money by doing it that way. Got of the ship, took a cab ($15-20) and we were there in 10 minutes. Spent the whole day at the waterpark and had an awesome time there!

Did the Aquaventure w/lunch in November it was GREAT! Booked through the Cruise line was worth every penny we paid. Was glad we we with the lunch option as it's a "cashless" park (need debit or c/c) and rather $$ for lunch. But we had a choice of food options and it was all wonderful. You can spend most of the day there just make sure you are out at the shuttles and catch your ride back before the last one leaves. Talked to folks on the ship who did just the beach ex or tour of Atlantis and everyone seemed very happy.

I just went to the site and the room was $250 but also had energy charge of $12.95 per person, $5 per person house keeping, taxes?, plus we are 5 and I would have to purchase a pass for 1, then the taxi fare, total comes to around $500, do you not have to pay the extra fees if you only want the day pass for the water park? Not much cheaper then the Carnival price.

Ive done Atlantis thru Carnival and on my own

Thru Carnival we did the Aquarium and then we got to hang out for the day didnt get to use the waterslides but were able to eat and lounge at the pool

My first time I took a water taxi and walked around the whole place and nobody bothered me I ate lunch and had a couple drinks played some Blackjack

It all depends on what you want to do

The tour of Atlantis is great and well worth the price. The Aquarium is the best and Casino rated the largest in the World at one time furnishings unmatched anywhere, free alcohol, as long as you gamble. Penny slots are whatever, lots of taxis at the port, which make $6 pp.
