Booking Question???

Booked our honeymoon cruise ES on Carnival's website. Used credit card to pay the deposit, only to find out later on our cc statement they charged us the full amount! No big deal we had the $ so now we're PAID IN FULL!:D

We may have to change the date of our cruise because it might interfere with my finals at school. How easy is it to cancel a paid for cruise and rebook it for a later date? I think there is a fee for this (like $50pp). Can we do this if we booked ES?

You can see from my ticker we have a lot of time left before the cruise. I hope we don't have to do this at all, but if anyone has been in this situation can you help?

TIA:)
