Private guide for Monte Carlo

Hello,

We will be on the Windsurf arriving Monaco for the Grand Prix cruise on

May 14.

I want to hire a private tour guide for the day to take us to see some of the surrounding towns.

Does anyone have any suggestions for someone reliable and knowledgeable?

When I was in Monaco in 9/07, I wanted to go to Eze, which was 6-8 miles away. Cab driver wanted $100 each way. Good luck finding someone, I think you'll need deep pockets!!

Hi Molly, we did the Grand Prix cruise last year and loved it.

 

If you are looking for a private guide for the day, I can recommend Michel at Revelation Tours. We used him on a cruise in 2005 and were very happy with his service. On that trip, we visited Nice, Eze, and St. Paul de Vence.

 

If you just want to go to Eze, there is a public bus you can take from Monte Carlo for one euro each way, or at least that is how much it was last year.

We did this cruise last Sept.

For 1 EURO you can take an easy bus ride from Monte Carlo to Nice, Eze, and many other places. It's really pretty easy.

 

We hired a guide to take us around Sorrento, Positano,Amalfi and Pompeii .

 

We wouldn't rec. the company because at the last minute they changed driver's on us and ours spoke very little English ( but--he was a good driver!).
