Pretty much the same as any hotel. My laptop had no problem finding the RCCL wifi. The only weird thing is that you can't do your initial sign-up from your laptop. You either have to use the stateroom TV or go to one of the internet cafes to pick your userid/password. After that, you buy time when you login. Not cheap but I got in/download email, etc. then go out as needed. Speed was decent though service was erratic. For 2 of the 4 days (12/1 Labadee sailing) it works flawlessly and for 1 day it was down most of the day and another day was in/out. That said, best wifi/internet access experience of any ship I've been on and the speed was also the fastest.
