mlredman2 Posted January 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2010 Hi. Can we use towels supplied by the ship or should we bring our own beach towels? Thanks! :)
Needzavacation Posted January 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2010 You can definitely use the ship towels at the beach. There's a pool towel check-out system at kiosks throughout the pool deck. We went to Orient Beach in St. Martin, and the Royal Caribbean towels were all over the place!
Jt4428 Posted January 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2010 Yes, but make sure that you return with them to the ship. They now have a checkout/checkin system. They say they will charge you $20 for missing towels.

Pumbaamd Posted January 8, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Take your own to avoid the hassel . With packing for seven days the hassle that it is, and the airlines extra fees for luggage ha$$le, you would rather pack beach towels? We did the check out/check in pool towel deal on Oasis. Each time it took maybe 30 seconds. Have fun on Oasis and leave your towels at home! Rick and Deirdra

Rick and Deirdra Well, we dont have to pay for our checked bags so the weight is not an issue. Our last cruise we were in St Thomas at the beach with friends and there towels disappeared while we were in the water. They were charged $20,00 each for there towels, they were not happy campers but Im sure someone was happy because they got 2 free towels.Even if you had to pay for the extra weight of 2 towels it would not come close to 40 bucks. Also taking your own towel helps you quickly identify your spot on the beach as there will be numerous towels that are all the same.
