If an excursion is scheduled from 10 am to 2 pm, and the ship leaves port at 3:30.....would there be ANY time for shopping? This is in Ochos Rios, btw. Just wondering how early you have to go back to the ship to keep from getting left behind!!!!

Generally you have to be back on the ship a half-hour before it is scheduled to leave.

If your excursion is through the ship, then they'll make sure you're back on time, and if not...then the ship will wait for you. So if the tour is scheduled to end at 2 p.m., that usually means you'll be back to the ship by two, giving you about an hour to shop. But there could be delays...and if so, your time is pretty short.
