Is bike riding allowed on the boardwalk? and, of course, are there rentals available?

I honestly don't know but hiring a bike, whilst not impossible, is not the best advice on Barbados roads. The boardwalk isn't that long, better on foot.

The South Coast boardwalk is 1.2 km. long

-that's about 3/4 of a mile.

 

Bikes are not allowed (neither are dogs) and even if they were

the corrugations of the boardwalk would annoy a rider, I reckon.

This boardwalk has become very popular by visitors and locals alike

Some stroll, some power-walk, some even jog.

Almost every evening, there are people doing their thing up and down its length.

 

You shoulda seen it New Year's Eve coming on to midnight!
