Walking from Palm Beach to Eagle Beach

How long would it take to walk from Palm to Eagle? Does it have to be walked along the main road or can we do it from the shore? We are both in our 30s and in normal physical condition.

Walking Palm Beach from it's northern most tip to the southern most tip of Eagle Beach is 3 miles (one way). Bring water. ;) If you wish to continue on the beaches further south to Manchebo and Druif beaches your total mileage would be 4 1/4 miles.

Thanks! And the map is very helpful at taking a look at exactly what we want to do. Looks like we will start at the Marriott and just head south till we get tired or satisfied with what we have seen. Looks like we will have plenty of time to do the walk though.
