Galapagos islands overland

Hi, has anyone taken the HAL galapagos overland excursion with their South American cruise Do you know the Cost? I know it will be expensive

is it worth the extra money? thanks

I think this is the same question as posed on the South America boards, but I don't really understand the use of "overland" and "Galapagos." The Galapagos Islands are just that -- islands and they are well off-shore. You can do an overland to Machu Picchu, but not to the Galapagos.
