firefly333 Posted January 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2010 We did a crawl on the Conquest, and the balconys on the top deck spa?? Id have to go look, slide open. The balconys on lower decks opened out, but didnt stay open if its windy, you need a bungee cord, and then the heat or a/c will work overtime, is why Carnival doesnt make them to stay open. nieciez Posted January 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2010 All of the Carnival ship's I've had a balcony on have opened out. For me it is too warm and humid in the Caribbean to have the doors open. Now our Dream Transatlantic we propped the door open a couple times with a deck chair at night....love the sound of the sea! *Mach* Posted January 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2010 The balcony doors open out. The exception to this are the Spa deck 8G balcony cabins on the Conquest class ships. They have sliding glass doors... :)
serene56 Posted January 12, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 12, 2010 Something to consider with sailing in June=- its gonna be hot. and humid. Keeping the door to the balcony open will get condensation build up in the room where everything feels wet.
