Carnival Coffee Cards

They didn't offer the card on Valor the first week of Jan, either. The coffee on the Lido and in the casino was barely drinkable. In the dining room it was pretty good. If you are talking about the coffee shop, I thought it was very good. I ordered a latte and I found it to be comparable to Starbucks.

No coffee cards on the Dream. Just go down and use the S&S card. My wife liked it. As far as other coffee on board the Dream, the coffee on the Lido deck is ground coffee from bags. I watched them pour it in. And at least for breakfast, the other dining rooms get their coffee right off the Lido deck machines. No difference in taste as far as I can tell. Othe rships may be different.

Yes, unfortunately, are a 'thing of the past'. :(

Guess Carnival is going to be out some of my hard earned money. Sell me a card with a discount and i would buy one. No discount then i am likely just to buy and bring Starbucks Via which is better then the coffee on the lido.

Carnival if your reading this you might rethink the coffee cards.

Yep, I was surprised how good the Via was, since I'm not a fan of instant coffee. But I got the travel cup that the Via packets fit in the bottom, and it's gone with me on my past two sailing (and again this weekend). :)

Well, I was on the Fantasy two weeks ago and they had coffee cards. It was five coffees for around $13. (That was including an automatic gratuity, I think.) I bought one, but ended up using only four, so not sure it was worth it. On a longer cruise, it would definitely be worth it.

It sounds like it's different on different ships.

I was on the Liberty last July and they had the cards available at the coffee stand in the buffet area. Was a great deal - 5 coffees (fu fu or whatever) for like $9 plus tip. We used a couple of them during the cruise and the flavor was quite good (MUCH better than the free stuff).
