MrPete Posted January 16, 2010 #27 Share Posted January 16, 2010 From previous experience, I would never book a cruise right after a ship comes out of drydock. That's why we're booked on Explorer for 1/24. :) OMG! Nothing truer than these words. We unknowingly took a repositioning cruise after a dry dock. They didn't finish on time. The ship still sailed, but the work continued. All that noise and omnipresent workmen.
Cruisers425Years Posted January 16, 2010 #28 Share Posted January 16, 2010 That's why we booked the 1/24 cruise also.

Precoria Posted January 18, 2010 #30 Share Posted January 18, 2010 Such a friendly forum. I'm glad I posted my mother's info. I guess Kewlguy is more rational that the rest of us? Sorry, it was 42 degrees with a wind chill of 30, so I win. It was freezing. Don't you have another thread of people to aggravate?
