Since it was in dry doc in the spring of 09. I don't think they will make any

plans to make changes until a few more years, if at all?

Next drydock is scheduled for 2012 but there is a rumor she might get them in late 2010.

I hear that there is no rush for Carnival to upgrade the Elation since it is already one of the newest and best Fantasy class ship.

What happened was the West Coast shipyards were not able to perform the upgrades. So the Carnival Elation nor the Carnival Paradise received the Waterworks/Resort style pool/inter-connecting cabins though they just went through refurb earlier this year.

They'll do the upgrades at Atlantic Marine in Mobile, once the ship gets here. And left coasters think that just because our family trees have a lack of branches, makes us somehow less capable than they are. Go figure. :p:)
