Casino Money

Recommended Posts

If I use money off my cruise card to play in the casino, does it act as a cash advance on my credit card or just a normal charge that will be included with my check out statement at end of the cruise.

I noticed that Princess charges 3% fee to pull money from your cruise card, a little steep, if I apply my winnings (feeling lucky) back to my card, do they still charge the 3%?

Just trying to figure out how much cash or travelers checks I need to bring. Thanks in advance.

If you go to the casino cashier to get money from your onboard account, there will be that 3% service charge.

If you go to a slot machine and put up to $100 at a time from your onboard account onto your inserted cruise card, there is no fee involved. You can then bring your cruise card to the casino cashier to "cash out" with no fee involved.

Does it have to be $100.00 or can you transfer any amount from your room key without service charges?

I think $10 is the smallest amount and $100 is the limit per transaction. Some have reported a miximum of $1500 per day; but I have exceeded that with no problem.
