I am sailing this itenerary in May and wanted to know if there are any good spots for a massage at any of these stops. I would like to treat myself to a massage, but can't afford the ship price. I know they do port day specials, but I don't want to stay on the ship.

A beach massage or spa would be ok. Budget friendly is a plus. It will be for me and a friend, so a 2for special can be arranged.

My wife & I booked a couples massage at the Rendezvous Resort in St Lucia for $125.

I think the cab fare is around $6. If you wanted the outside cabana near the beach (which we did) it's a extra $30.

CCL wanted double that.

I had a massage on the beach in St Lucia a couple of years ago. This was directly in front of the Royal St Lucian hotel and I still remember the girl's name - Belinda - because she was so good and such a nice girl, good price too :D All the people who work on the beach (vendors, boat drivers etc) know each other, so just get one of them to find her.

We did a couples hot stone massage at Indulgences by the Sea in St Maarten when we were there in 2006. It was lovely. Their beachside cabanas had been blown away by a hurricane the year before and thus were not available, but the room we were in had one whole wall of windows and if you looked you could see the sea (the glass was treated so we could see out but people couldn't see in. At least that's what they told us!)

I thought the price was pretty reasonable, definitely cheaper than onboard the ship, but it may have gone up since then.

We've been to St Kitt's twice and the St Kitts Mariott is fantastic.

As long as you don't flaunt your cruise ship beach towel (how the

staff can pick out the cruise passengers), you can get a free lounge chair

and cabana. The beach is free and you just walk up to an empty cabana

and sit down. There are massages available for about $50 / hr. You can negotiate. A personal bit of advise....immediately tell the vendors with

monkeys that you are not interested. they will then leave you alone. Otherwise, they will bug you to death.

The massage was great, with the masseuse using fresh aloe squeezed from the leaves on the spot. I would suggest that you try to get some background

of the masseuse while you negotiate. Some went to school...some didn't.

But both were well worth the $$$$.

After the beach, there is a large casino/sports bar that is available to

everyone, along with bars, restaurants, gift shops etc. You can look up

the St Kitt's Marriott online. It's beautiful, and close to port.
