What is the best way to get from Miami Airport to Ft. Laud hotels ? We are flying in the day before the cruise.

Taxi is about the only way unless you want to rent a car - taxi could be $30 to $50. Any reason you cannot fly into FLL?

Actually the taxi fare will be closer to $75+. SuperShuttle may save you a couple of dollars, but a one day car rental is likely your best bet. Good luck!:)

I thought since the airfare into Miami was $300 cheaper, it may be a good idea.

We are flying into MIA the night before our cruise in April and are staying at the Embassy Suites on 17th in FLL. We looked at a couple of options and ended up booking a town car through Larry's Limos to take use from MIA to the hotel. Was a few bucks more than a cab and a little more style. Looked at a van service like supershuttle, but we wanted a point to point trip without having to wait for others or stop at other hotels first.

Taxi fare is $80+

 

Supershuttle is $28 per person

 

I fly into MIA despite cruising out of Port Everglades because I have no reasonable alternative. I travel solo and am not happy about driving and navigating a rental car in a strange place on the wrong side of the road (plus how do you get to the hotel once you've dropped the car off?), so I just build the transfer cost into the budget altho' I certainly wish there were more choices.
