Outlets in the cabins...

We'll be on Carnival in just a few days (YEAH!!!) and I'm a bit confused about the outlet that's there. I read there is one outlet at the desk area....is this for use with regular US plugs such as a curling iron, hair dryer, camera charger? Or do we have to bring some type of adaptor?

They have both American and European style plugs...you won't need an adaptor unless you have UK style electric items.

Only 1 outlet. Bring a power strip.

Definately take a power strip. You may be fortunate and have a 2nd outlet behind the TV. I had that on the Emerald when I was on that ship, so that's where I plugged in my strip.

Best cabin I ever had was an SA on the Westerdam. 7 plugs!:D

chances are just one outlet. with everything you need to plug in these days you will need the power strip. we will be on splendor to mex riv. in may!! what ship will you be one and to where? where ever it is have a great trip!!:)

I found a power plug at Best Buy that has 4 outlets and 2 USB power ports. It also swivels. Better than having a power strip with a long cord all over your cabin desk top area.
