wheatley Posted January 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2010 Has anyone ever flown on Air India? I can get a good price on a flight to London, but I want to be sure that we get there!
phabric Posted January 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2010 I noticed that you are from Ontario also. I have booked our flight from Toronto to Heathrow through http://www.canadianaffair.com 877-835-9285. They have flights to & from Britain and Canada. They use Air Transat. I booked the Premium Class seats with more room, and with these seats, they are about the same price as Air Canada in coach.
2ndsailing Posted January 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2010 Also from Ontario...not a lot to choose from. We're flying on Air Transat (I like Club Class) and Air Transat flies into Gatwick which we thought would make it easier for us to get the train to Southampton. Gatwick Airport is still busy, but not quite as bad at Heathrow.
wheatley Posted January 27, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted January 27, 2010 Thanks for the info. The $800 non-stop fare from Air India is still very tempting. I'd like to hear from someone who has actually flown with them though. Air Trans seems to be the next cheapest. That's a good web site.
RHefley228 Posted January 27, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2010 Air India is fine, and much preferable to PIA.
Globaliser Posted January 27, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 27, 2010 ... I want to be sure that we get there! There are no guarantees in life. Are you concerned about the flight crashing, or just being cancelled?
lord of the seas Posted January 27, 2010 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2010 Air India is fine, and much preferable to PIA. but a very fine line seperates these two airlines.
