Southwest Baggage Program - LAX

From what I understand Southwest isn't part of the NCL baggage program but does have a truck outside for those flying SW - has anyone used their service? Cost? Is it a big help rather then checking bags at the airport? Thank you.

we used the Southwest bags service last year in Ft Lauderdale - $10 per bag and they gave us the boarding pass and we just had to show up at the airport. It was nice because our flight was later in the day and we didn't have to worry about bags and waiting in the long lines at the airport.

I tried to find the site online to pay ahead of time, and found it but the site won't work. when I did finally get it to work they needed some sort of 6-digit number that they didn't define or explain! needless to say, i couldn't do it online.

but it doesn't seem like paying at the pier is a problem. which is a good thing!
