Hiring formal wear for men on board ship

Hi DH and I are going on our first ever cruise to Alaska in June. We are going on the Sapphire Princess. We would like to go to the formal night but packing a suit for him will take up a lot of our luggage and the airlines are getting very mean with allowances now. Can we hire a suit for him on board? And would it need to be booked in advance or arranged once we are on board?

They always used to do this, though it is a plain vanilla Tux or suit. I have not sailed them in a few years now so hopefully someone will answer that has, though I imagine it is in the frequent questions section on the Princess website.

You should do it in advance....call Princess and ask how!
