Larry5440 Posted January 31, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Just read in a posted compass that children are now allowed in the solarium during certain hours on the Jewel of the Seas. When we last sailed the radiance class this was not a policy, we always enjoy the quiet nature of the adult only area. Can anyone clarify?
Sue L Posted January 31, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2010 During in-climate weather or cold itineraries they are allowed in for a couple of hours. Not all day though
cb at sea Posted January 31, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2010 If it's nice weather, they won't be allowed to use the Solarium!
negc Posted January 31, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2010 We have been on Jewel of the Seas and were very favorably impressed by how well families observed the restricted hours when kids were permitted in the Solarium for a swim. The rule was always well enforced but for the most part the parents and their kids left the solarium without any prompting when the hours were over. In situations when the outside weather is inclement it would seem only fair to allow them the use of the solarium for a limited period each day and that is what is done.
