What are the great FREE beaches to go to?

We're looking into Nachi but wanted to see what's out there in terms of the free beaches. We were thinking of doing snorkeling as well so it won't be worth it for us to pay the all inclusive for just an hour or two.

Paradise Beach, one of the best. The beach and water are free. If you wish to use their facilities, chairs, shade, etc. they ask that spend a little money with them. A couple of drinks and a snack will take care of it.

You can do a boat snorkel trip from Nachi Cocom

 

You can also do a boat snorkel trip from the "free" beach club Playa Palancar.

 

If you want to snorkel from shore, then you'll have to go to a beach club with a rock shoreline, such as Playa Uvas or Chankanaab National Park.
