Ocean temp now

Temp is about 79º: http://www.weather.com/maps/news/novnonactive/gulfcaribbeanseasurfacetemps_large.html

Nortes don't affect it too much...the water is actually warmer than the air temp during most nortes. Talked to lots of people today who loved playing in the ocean, but had to quickly wrap up in towels to beat the cool wind when they got out!

I would agree with Tom, water temp 79 +- 1 . If there is a Norte, the water won't be calm on the west side. A norte usually closes the small boat harbor, which might cancel a dive/snorkel trip.

at what wind speeds does it effect the snorkeling/dive trips or shore snorkeling and diving.. i notice winds of 15mph lately on the maps.. will be there next week and need the norte to be gone!!!
