Release date for 2011? - Egypt interest

We are considering a Holy Land/ Egypt cruise in 2011, between mid March - early June. When do the lines release cruises for these dates so I can start my research on choices? Are there actually cruises in this area in mid-March or are all the ships still in the Caribbean, such as Princess, Celebrity, RCL?

Depends on the cruise line but most are still in the caribbean till end of March early April

March/April to early May 2011 schedules are already out. The cruise year usually runs from April/May of one year to March/April of the following year. Schedules covering the 2011-2012 cruise year are the ones that get announced this year. So it looks like your desired cruise can only take place from late April to early June - if the cruiselines offer your itinerary then.

Look at Norwegian Jade, Azamara Quest and Brilliance of the Seas for mainstream lines that visit Cairo on their itineraries. Your options expand greatly if you are also looking at the luxury lines, Silver Wind has a terrific 12 day itinerary on June 11, but it will start around $6000 pp.
