Latitudes Member

I sailed on NCL once before so have a latitudes number. My 2 children, I assume because they were 3rd and 4th on the room so not have one.

 

This cruise I am sailing with the 2 kids alone. Since they are not latitudes members does this mean we cannot get the latitudes line up at boarding etc?

I recently was on the Sky out of Miami. I am a Latitudes member and it was my boyfriend's first cruise. Not only did we both check in at the Latitudes desk, they even had a Latitudes pin waiting for him in the cabin. Once you say that you are a Latitudes member, they'll guide you right over to that line and welcome you and your kids.

According to the Latitudes program: "For children under the age of 18, cruises will be counted but not recognized until they turn 18. "

 

So the cruises that your children take will count toward their Latitudes membership, but they cannot actually be recognized as members until they are 18.

 

However, they can still go with you through the Latitudes line, and will also be able to attend Latitudes functions.

thre will be a Latitudes party when you onboard your next cruise. You should receive an invite in your cabin for it. There usually are free drinks and some prizes raffled off at it too!
