Rome Hotels with suites/connecting rooms

I've read through many of the posts regarding hotels in rome. A popular favorite seems to be the Albergo Del Senato. However...there might be 4 in our family meeting up in Rome for about 4 days..............trying for a larger room...suite... Any thought/ And if no info. on suites....would you please let me know the "best for your $$ hotel you liked best. Thanks........
