Waiting for Godfrey

New to the boards and I think I just figured out how to post this in the righ forum ~ I hope!

I love all the tips I've gotten. I'm taking notes for our first cruise (Glory, 2/05/05).

I sent a reservation request to Godfrey 2 days ago. Any idea how long before I hear back? Do I have a chance of a reservation at this late date?

Godfrey is very good at responding to all info requests. You should have no problem hearing from him and booking before your trip

He responded to my email 2 days later, but unfortunately, our date of 1/26 was fully booked, so we couldn't do his tour.

Thanks for helping to put my mind at ease. I am uncharacteristically anxious about many aspects of this trip.

Any suggestions if Godfrey is booked for 2/05? We would like to take an excursion at both St. Thomas and St. Martin (me, DH and kiddies, ages 7 and 9).

If Godfrey's is unavailable...try Timmy's tours. Someone told me they are brothers and the tours are the same price, etc. My son & his friends used Timmy a couple years ago and they loved him!! We will book with either one for our Nov cruise.

Thanks to all! A quick email check before bed turned up a reply from Godfrey!

We are all set with a tour on 2/08. Now that I'm all set with that, any recommendations for non Carnival tours in Nassau and/or St.Maartens?

Depending on your interests you might look at the Lord Sheffield day sail.. We booked it for next week and it gets great reviews

I happily reported the I had received an email from Godfrey. Now what do I do? Should I print it and bring it with me? I sent an email asking if we were to receive a reservation confirmation. He sent back my original query with his original response. Don't I need something in hand when we get off at St. Thomas?

Look down at the bottom, there were instructions at the bottom of my original that was returned.
