walk to train station

Just make sure you have only one bag, or the second bag attaches firmly to the other case. It's not a long walk, but the sidewalks aren't always smooth as you would like, plus walking across streets. There are handicap ramps on all street corners, so no lifting of heavy cases.

We walked there from our Gaslamp Quarter hotel (not with luggage) and it took about 10 minutes once we passed the train station. We also walked across the street with luggage to the parking lot, that's about as far a walk as I want to do with more than one suitcase. If we took the train down to SD, I think we'd pack our largest suitcases so we would only have one case each, no carry ons.

Lots of people are getting off the train there with luggage.
