I'm doing a small gift basket for the 2 girls I will be cruising with! This is what I have on my list to include: Light up rings Silver (like the kind at a bachelorette party), Lime Green Feather Boa, Glow in the Dark Bracelets & Necklaces, I also plan on purchasing some bar credits and splitting them 2 and 2! I'm trying to make this a fun sort of odd basket.....random things for late night deck parties or the dance club.

 

If you can think of anything else to add please do!

lol! Well we are all bringing our own sea sick remedies or medicines. Beings this is our first cruise.....None of us get motion sick or anything like that but I have read that being on a large ship is different.

I like the tube of chewable bonine that comes in a tube. 24 hours. Some of the stuff only lasts 4 - 6 hours and is hard to open once you are feeling sick and shaky ... the bonine just pop it out and chew it up, but maybe it costs too much too add??

 

Do you have any thing they can put they cards on, the free casino lanyards work, but you can buy them matching ones for about $5.

 

The glow in the dark stuff will be a sure hit. Id like to get that myself.

I've seen that on the ship you can get them free, but do they run out ever? Also what are they exactly.....I know a lanyard with a clip on the end but do they have like a plastic pouch or something of that sort?

 

Can you tell me the best thing to use for our cards?

 

My thought process with the Glow in the Dark things, if I bought it in bulk and handed it out to others at the party or the club whatever!

The casino laynards only have a clip on the end. They or the purser's desk will punch a hole in your laynard, so you only need to lean forward to unlock your cabin. if they are in a plastic thingee, you have to take them out each time.

 

The ones in the casino come in red, blue and I guess white, though I only have red and blue. (carnival colors) and they are spingy, so you can pull them forward without taking them off to reach the slot machines.

Speaking about cameras how about cheap disposable ones, sample size anything - shampoos, conditioners, tooth paste, better yet, Baileys, rye, wine etc.as a joke those crazy just add water and you get a hunk from the sex stores. Stop me already, my mind is in the gutte.

I agree, those sample sizes like you get in hotels are great for cruising. I dont bring big bottles of shampoo or conditioner with me for sure. small lotion is good too.

 

How about some small snacks, like skittles. Something sweet for late night.

If you are from Canada - at any liquor store by the tills. If not, empty out all those shampoo bottles into one big one - rinse really well and fill em up
