I changed my room for our cruise to a Aft-wrap balcony!!! I am so excited. After 20 plus cruises I finally get one. The only sad part is I won't be next to our friends :(

 

Oh well they can come to our balcony to party!

8 weeks from today I'm leaving winter behind and heading to San Diego! We have an aft wrap on the Spirit for 12 days to Hawaii waiting for us! Had one on the Miracle last Feb. and it is awesome.

You are really going to enjoy the wrap-around! We had it this past November on the Conquest and we loved it.

 

It is a beautiful sight to sit on the balcony and watch the wake of the ship as she steams to/from different ports of call.

 

I don't have a balcony of any type for this cruise in two weeks, but hey, I am on a cruise!

I upgraded from an Oceanview to a Balcony due to price drops and by luck of the guarantee draw, I got an Aft Balcony! It was a few days ago that I was reading a thread about how great an aft balcony was. Now I'm all excited. Then I read a thread about cigarette ash so now I know what to expect. A great view with potential items flying down to the balcony. At least I won't be surprised when it happens. :)

Pam, we had an aft wrap on the Freedom last Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. You will love it. We travelled with a large group of friends and we would put a colorful hair scrunchie on our door and leave it propped open with the deadbolt lock so our friends could come in even if we were out on the balcony. They always knew if they saw the hair band on the door handle, they were welcome. It worked great for us. Have fun! :)
