Snorkeling at Accra?

Originally I was planning to go to Carlisle Bay so I could snorkel the shipwreck sight there but it seems like Accra is a beautiful beach worth visiting. Can anyone tell me if I can snorkel there? if so, what is it like?

Yes, there's snorkelling to be had at Accra.

It's a man-made reef, placed there about 15 yrs. ago.

Not sure about snorkel equipment rentals: haven't seen any

do you have any idea where Shasa's cruise go? they have two snorkeling locations. i really want to know where are they? are they close to west or east coast?

That would be West Coast.

East Coast(Atlantic) is too rough, except for a few days/weeks in Summer(Hurricane Season)

 

Sorry but I don't know much about where those guys stop to snorkel.
