GAP Points

Group Amenity Points (GAP) are a standard cruise industry term and not cruise line specific.

How many points are given to a group depends on the specific voyage of that itinerary. If the ship is close to full or the itinerary is only done once that year GAP may not be assigned. On that very same voyage a group that was put under contract as soon as the voyage was open to group bookings (around 18 months before departure) may have received a large amount of GAP.

GAP menus (what the points can be used for) are published by the cruise line and available for travel agents to use. The number of GAP changes in real time as the available inventory on each voyage chnages. This is why you won’t find a published list of GAP for each voyage.

If you want to compare GAP for several voyage across several cruise lines you’ll have to go through the process of setting up a group on each voyage.

Selecting a cruise based on receiving the most GAP means you’re selecting a cruise that fewer people want.

True, and this was already pointed out to OP in post #2.

And why do you care that it has? I am sure that there is maybe a couple of people left in this world that do no know what Google is or how to use it. I also think that most learn better if they make at least make some effort to research something themselves instead of having it spoon fed to them.
