billie5 Posted February 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2010 Depends entirely upon which port -- vastly more out of Rome than out of FLL. Bill

IWORK2CRUISE Posted February 17, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2010 Yes transfers are available but the cost depends on where you arrive and which port you need to go to. Airports to Cruise Ships Transfer Services NCL Ground Transfers for Cruise-Only Guests Norwegian Cruise Line offers Ground Transfers for Cruise-Only Guests who have made their own air flight arrangements and want to purchase transportation between the airport and the piers. To Purchase a Transfer Please call our Reservations Department at 800.327.7030 to make your transfer arrangements. We will need your flight information in order to process your request. Ground transfers must be booked at least 11 days prior to sailing. Rates and availability are subject to change. For Cruise Only passengers booking their own return flights, we suggest a departure time no less than 6 hours after announced arrival time of the ship. For arrival time guideline please contact NCL RESERVATION If you have made your cruise reservation through a travel agency, please contact your agent directly to book your transfer
SeaShark Posted February 17, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2010 You can also call your PCC or Travel Agent to arrange for transfers. Sometimes (ex: Miami) there are other options available at a lower cost than the NCL transfers. The best place to get this information is on the respective board for your departure city. Hope this helps and enjoy your cruise!
Hockey19 Posted February 17, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 17, 2010 If Seattle, check into the BAGS program where the ship will transport your luggage directly to your carrier. You will not touch the bags from cabin until pick up at your destination. Leaves you free to explore post cruise if you have time before your flight. We did this and it was a great service. And, you do not have to wait for them to fill a bus, or wait for Aunt Martha that left her umbrella in the bathroom, etc. Grab a cab and go.
