Ryanair: They diverts to a different airport, and leave passengers on their own!

[While not directly related to cruise air, more than a few cruise passengers here think about flying on Ryanair.]

Seems when flying on Ryanair, you may or may not actually get to your destination, and the airline does not care.

A flight from Bournemouth, U.K., to Lanzarote (a Canary Island) was forced to divert due to stormy weather and land on the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura (a different Canary Island.) The passengers say they were then left to make their own onward travel arrangements to catch ferries and boats to Canary Island. Ryanair says they arranged a freey the next day.

Ah Ryanair. The last airline I would ever use unless I had to. They fill planes because they are cheap, but should anything go wrong........ you are totally on your own. They have this reputation. You have been warned. That said, if you HAVE to use them, the flight itself is not bad, the planes are new, the pilots well qualified and the FA reasonably friendly.
