Best Beach for little ones

My DH and I have been to St. Martin several times, but never as parents. We are nearing the completion of an international adoption and our cruise in August will be our first vacation with children (they will be between the ages of 2 and 5, and there will be two of them)

We plan on renting a car in St. Martin and will have our car seats with us, which beaches are bested suited for little ones to enjoy?

Le Gallion on the French side near Orient Beach. Extremely gradual dropoff as you enter the water and there are some beach services.
