Is Sovereign of the Seas leaving Port Canaveral Next Year?

The Sovereign is one of our favorite ships, we've been on her twice. I haven't been on the boards lately and the search doesn't work. Anyway, I was checking on one of the online cruise websites and they only show the Sovereign sailing out of PC through April of next year. Anyone know of any changes coming down the pike? Last time we sailed some crew members were telling us that they were going to LA or San Diego, but it never happened. I would love to do the Sovereign through the Canal! Thanks for any info.

Some of the online sites don't offer anything more than 1 year in advance. Royal Caribbean's site has dates for Sovereign, same itinerary, still Pt. Canaveral through April 2006. She is getting a major face lift in Nov/Dec this year, complete with balconies added to deck 10. Sovereign is one of our favorites also and can't wait to sail on her again in April!

I would be in agony if I thought the Sovereign was leaving 'our' port.

Port Canavaeral loves to bill itself as the nation's second-busiest cruise port. You can bet they would lobby to keep the Sov here if there were any question about her staying!

Thanks for the info. I did go on the RCI site and saw that they are offering sailings further on. I'm excited about the balconies!

the Sov. of the Seas will be leaving from there 4/ 05, we have 3 cabins booked for 4/25
