uv-c light for mercury

I am ready for my cruise on the Mercury on Friday . We have a UV-C light that is suppose to kill bacteria and virus. Got it for Christmas and we will be sure to take it along. A small portable one came with the big one . I guess we will finally get to see if it works like they say it does

I guess I won't know for sure unless I get sick. I am just hoping it works. Doesn't sound to good . We will be spending the night in Charleston and I heard they are having problems too
