MargoK Posted February 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Have copied this from our Diamond Princess Roll Call, as I thought those heading down to Australia and New Zealand might like to be aware!!! Also found www.activitytours.com and booked "Blue Mountain Wildlife Tour with River Cruise for December 20th. The cost $88 AU for Adults and $79 AU for children. Any joiners? Just thought I would let you know we won't be joining you on any of this company's tours as they cannot take my collapsible powerchair UNLESS I pay for a child's fare (then they would have space!!!!) Also they cannot take strollers! So thats four passengers on two tours they just missed out on. They obviously are more concerned about bums on seats than PR. PennyAgain Posted February 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Laws in Australia are independent of those in the US. Very different in many cases. Where you might find that the actual person working the tour is friendly and helpful, you have no promise that will happen. I found out in Australia that the tours assume people are very fit, even the easier tours. I had to crawl along one section of a tour in Australia on my hands and knees because there was no other way I could do it.
