Iglesia de San Lucas (Guadalupe Cat. Church)

Has anyone gone to the Iglesia de San Lucas church (or also known as Guadalupe Catholic Church)? I believe it is on the corner of Calle Cabo San Lucas and Zapata St. but couldn't locate it on a map. Any idea how far it is from where the NCL Star docks/tenders? Understand it was built in 1730.

Yes, we were there last year and I will be visiting again next week! Total surprise trip for me coming up. The church is in PV. If you go to the Malecon and walk to the end where the dolphin fountain is and the "P??" flyers are (they climb to the top of a pole and then swing from ribbon type ropes) just turn to the left and walk up a little hill and you will be at the church. We were on a tour last year when I went and I was upset that I didn't have enough time at the Malecon area. There were so many interesting statues and it was such a nice place. We are going to spend more time there during the visit next week. :) The church is beautful. Have a great trip!

San Lucas is the church at Cabo San Lucas.

From tender pier you can walk toward your right,

when the street curve to the right.... keep walking straight (keep left) and up the hill.

Not sure the street name, but keep asking people "Iglesia ? " they will point to the San Lucas Church

Lady Guadalupe at Puerto Vallarta is beautiful !

if you can walk up the hill and behind the church, the view is (see below) ......

we took city bus The BLUE LINE bus to the "iglesia" and return to the cruise port drop off at (magic word) Wal Mart, walk across the street back to the cruise ship. There are too many marinas and too many ports and confusing for every one especially if you do not speak Spanish, and we found the magic word : Wal Mart
