EXECUTIVE HOTEL VANCOUVER located in downtown on 1379 Howe Street

 

Has anyone stayed here before? I would love to hear your thoughts :) I read some mixed reviews on Trip Advisor (mostly good) so I thought I'd ask my fellow CCer's for your input. Is this a decent hotel? Good location? Worth the money? Overrated? Safe area? Thank you to all that reply :)

Most of downtown is certainly safe (avoid east of Cambie Street). It's down along the south side of the downtown peninsula, a little over a mile from the cruise terminal, but just across the Granville bridge from Granville Island market.

 

Nearby there's a couple of great little eateries, La Bodega is a great tapas place, and one of my favorite breakfast joints, The Elbow Room serves up the breakfast goodies along with a huge slice of attitude (in a fun way)

It is in a good location as I see it everytime I look out my condo window
