Disembarkation in NYC on Jewel

Cruising the Jewel at the end of April. Ship is scheduled to get back to NYC at 8am. Can we get off ship fairly quickly as we need to get to Penn Station to catch a 10:50 Amtrak train. I think it is a fairly short taxi ride to Penn Station. Anyone done this or have any thoughts on it. Thanks

Assuming (!) you're on time and there are no delays in clearing the ship, you should have no problem catching that train. If you self-disembark, you could possibly be off the ship by 9-9:30 (maybe even sooner). Depending on how long it takes you to get a cab, you could be at Penn Station before 10.

Yes, you must self disembark and do your own cab. No problem.
