St.Thomas and Snuba

So myself and 6 friends are going on the Carnival Destiny cruise in March and we were thinking of doing the snuba excursion in St. Thomas. I'm wondering if anyone has done this excursion and if it worth the $$. All of us enjoy the water and i've done scuba before and loved it. Is it the same kinda of thrill? Any thoughts or opinions on this would be great!!

Suba is way worth the money, however I would NOT book it through the cruise line.You can easily catch a cab to Coki Beach and at Coral world you can snuba there. More time in the water with them than on the cruise excursion and much less expensive. Here is the site http://www.visnuba.com/

wow, had know idea...do they usually have space, especially for 7 people all at once? can you book ahead of time? i'll ahve to check out the link, thanks for the tip!!
