Casino Player Posted August 22, 2011 #26 Share Posted August 22, 2011 I always liked the casinos on the Princess. RCI has nice ones as well. HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Yo Eleven: Glad to see that you are still with us. The RCL casinos they only have single odds on the craps tables. Celebrity has 3x-4x-5x odds. AndyTheK Posted August 22, 2011 #27 Share Posted August 22, 2011 I'm with Yo. Last two cruises have been on Princess, and there's one coming up in six says (plus one more in April 2012 booked). Double odds at the craps table and pretty good casino staff.
SuiteCruiser Posted October 15, 2011 #28 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Largest casino at sea currently is the Epic. It's beautiful with 3 wings from the central atrium. One is non-smoking, with 3 card, craps, slots, blackjack tables. The Epic also has a group of tables poolside :) the staff was amazing.
Island Wave06 Posted October 24, 2011 #29 Share Posted October 24, 2011 Just returned from ex of the seas. We were told at the casino by the man giving away prizes (he kind of looks like Clark Kent ) that next month they are getting 95 new machines that will no longer give quarters back. Finally paper tickets!!! Casino royale is always great fun. ;)

kellbellscruise Posted March 28, 2012 #34 Share Posted March 28, 2012 Hello all..... Just wanted to say that the Carnival Dream's casino was pretty nice, but for the size of the ship, I would have thought it a little bigger. But I enjoyed it and had some luck on the Quick Hit slots. richard1s Posted April 1, 2012 #35 Share Posted April 1, 2012 The casino for my wife and I is one of the highlights of the cruise experience. she loves slots and I enjoy table games and machines. I think a lot depends on fellow cruisers; some crowds are great and others are a bust. I wasn't crazy about some aspects of the ship, but the Carnival Spirit had the best dealers and most lively players. Rhapsody was a close second and HAL had free drinks to players that took the time to register in their player system. Although it was a great cruise in many ways, our Nov 2011 Serenade trip was the worst. Dealers were not engaged, slots did not use voucher system and the place was horribly smokey. Rare mitsugirly Posted April 25, 2012 #36 Share Posted April 25, 2012 We loved the Epic. The casino was HUGE and I have to say I did REALLY well on the slots. :D Well enough to buy my hubby a new black diamond ring. :) We haven't found another Casino on board like it since. flygirlb737 Posted April 25, 2012 #37 Share Posted April 25, 2012 I agree with NicoLee, the Oasis is the biggest I've seen at sea. It felt like a real land based casino due to the layout and size.
riddle Posted July 7, 2012 #38 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Any video poker players out there who can report on the pay tables on the Epic. Are they as bad as on other ships?
VideoTech Posted July 10, 2012 #39 Share Posted July 10, 2012 Any video poker players out there who can report on the pay tables on the Epic. Are they as bad as on other ships? Well, my Epic cruise was two years ago, and they were not good then. I see no reason to expect they would have improved in the meantime! Basically, I've never been on a cruise ship with decent VP pay tables.
