Food in Half Moon Cay

We are going on HA Zuiderdam and will spend one day on Half Moon Cay. Is there any food shop/restaurant on the island? Or do we go back to Zuiderdam for lunch? Someonw mentioned BBQ ont the island last year? Is it free or do we have to pay for it?

Hal provides a BBQ and it is free.

This is a good question to ask over on the HAL section of this board -- there are so many people over there with a lot of experience!

 

There is a free barbecue on HMC. Generally they serve burgers & hot dogs, chicken, ribs. [sometimes] steak and [sometimes] fish.

Also, potato salad, cole slaw, fruit, potato chips.

Also cookies and brownies for dessert.

You can buy soda [drink cards are not accepted on HMC] or have the free water/iced tea.

 

There are bars on HMC at which you may purchase beer, etc. etc.
