tmickle Posted March 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2010 We're receiving an OBC for our April 17th Celebrity Summit cruise. The rates keep dropping and now we're up to $520 in credit. I'm not sure exactly what we can use this for. I'm assuming drinks, gift shop purchases, excurssions, etc. (I'm assuming this doesn't mean tips and such.) Also, does this mean at the end of the cruise this amount will be deducted from our bill? If so, what happens if you don't use it all? I'm assuming that our bill will be over this, but just in case. I haven't cruised in 15 years, so I'm pretty much a newbie. Thanks for any responses!
Cuizer2 Posted March 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2010 Yes, the OBC will be deducted from your final on board bill. You will have to read the terms & conditions of the OBC to determine if it can be used for tips and if it is refundable at the end of the cruise.
