Question about Formal nights - LOS

Recommended Posts

As long as you want...we stay dressed for the evening, because we look so damn good all dressed up! But, some will change right after dinner....seems alot of trouble!

The "formal" part starts before dinner....and then, it's up to you!

Maybe you are confusing formal nights with the captian's reception? At the captians reception there is typically a free drink and it is held on one of the formal nights. It is held in different places depending on the ship.

However, formal night, in general is just a night where everyone dresses up. Dinner is still held in the mdr. I don't remember it being any different on carnival.

How dressed are people getting for formal nights on Liberty of the Seas. Are we talking long evening gown type dresses for woman? Or a cocktail dress? Please advise, as we have not cruised since 2003 and we are cruising on LOS in May.
