Maybe I should try to sell my S&S card on Ebay

Check out the bidders previous won bids... it looks like they collect this kind of stuff. Geez, I just threw out several old cards from prior cruises. Just think, I could have sold them on ebay.... and buy... hummm.... the Sunday paper.

I just starting clicking into the purchased items and thinking - well one mans trash is another mans treasure - then I hit on this item http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63763&item=6143872295 - he paid $61.00 for this? I don't quite understand - but maybe I'll pull out my old cards and send him and email. I think I can find a few casino chips and some old playing cards.

Did you notice that the winning bidder was the same on both? I guess WC Fields was right!

Okay, we can all laugh at the thought of our trash becoming someone's collectible. But read this thread.... shame on the seller and the buyer for trying to pull one over on the cruise line. Not to mention that the buyer could have purchased this item legitimately for less than this ebay auction.

How true. All the basball cards I messed up and thrown away. My dad owned a hotel, all the movie posters, all the old postcards. Who knows what we should save that will become collectable

Maybe "fountain cards" will become collectors items because of the end of cruising.
